  • Matt Homes - Founder & Head Coach

    Matt primarily has a photographic background having worked for the sports photo agency Allsport Photographic from 1984 as a Picture Editor and Library Manager. After various roles within Sales at Getty Images Matt is currently developing and growing the In-Touch Cricket Academy as an ECB Level 3 coach. In addition Matt is a specialist cricket coach at Epsom College and Director of Cricket for Surrey Championship Premier side Ashtead CC. Matt has played club cricket for Mitcham, Ashford, Reigate Priory and Ashtead CC. On-line booking

  • Henry Thorpe - Academy Lead Coach

    A Surrey Coach of the Year, Henry has a fresh and dynamic outlook on the game and epitomises that of the modern era and for someone so young, has a wealth of experience on his side having been coaching for 6 years as an ECB Level 2 coach. Henry has spent his early days as a coach working alongside senior coaches and is currently the Head Coach and 1st XI Captain of Maori Oxshott Cricket Club. Henry is a First-Class graduate from the the University of Manchester and is coaching full-time whilst launching his own business. He currently leads sessions in our group programs and is a graduate of the Academy when it first started in 2008. On-line booking

  • Damian Shirazi - Specialist Coach

    Damian is the current Director of Cricket at Epsom College and very experienced Level 3 coach working with players at all levels from elite to early development. His playing career as a left handed opening batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace saw him represent England at U14, U15, and U19 levels. He also played for Hampshire CCC at all levels and 2 years with the MCC Young Cricketers as well as representing the British Universities Sports Association against the touring New Zealand and Sri Lankan teams. He comes highly recommended in a 121 coaching environment. On-line booking

  • Tom Homes - Senior Coach

    Tom is currently part of the ECB Level 3 coaching program working for In-Touch Cricket, Surrey CCC u12 age group and Ashtead Cricket Club. Tom has a great understanding working with younger players having come through the Surrey County age teams from u9 to u17s and was an Academy player for 2 years. He is a left arm spinner and plays for Ashtead CC 1st XI and represented Surrey 2nds throughout the 2017 season. Tom is studying a degree in Sport and Business with Open University. On-line booking

  • Jacob Paul - S& C / Specialist Sprint Coach

    Jacob is a level 3 qualified personal trainer and an international track athlete who was a part of team England at the Commonwealth Games in 2018. A specialist in sprinting technique, fitness coaching, general body conditioning and sport-specific movements. The sessions will focus on improving players specific needs and equipping them within a cricket environment.

  • Tom Deighton - Academy Coach

    Tom is an experienced club cricketer having played and captained the Ashtead 1st XI in the Surrey Championship Premier Division. Tom currently coaches as an ECB Level 2 coach across all the junior age groups at Ashtead CC and also the clubs Academy coach.
